Interns in our Denver program have the opportunity to work at the corporate headquarters of a Fortune 500 company and get exposure to a variety of corporate departments.
At the intersection of finance, marketing and corporate governance, Investor Relations provides a unique snapshot into Newmonts culture, operations, and financial performance. The primary goal of Investor Relations is to enable effective communication between Newmonts executive leadership team and key market participants including shareholders and investment banks. The work is dynamic and fast paced. As an intern, you will help develop the companys external strategic messaging and relay it to members of the finance community.
Essential Duties 13;
:Conduct market research and analysis in preparation for quarterly earnings and releases
:Draft weekly reports for senior personnel
:Manage quality control checks to ensure data accuracy
:Assist in creating PowerPoints for investor meetings
:Fulfill ad:hoc projects and investor:specific data requests
:Assist upper management with investor targeting and presentations to senior management

Training and Experience 13;
:MBA, MS Finance or MS Accounting students preferred (3.0 GPA or above)
:Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
:Understanding of financial accounting
:Financial modeling experience a plus
:Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
***This is a full:time internship for the summer of 2017. It is a paid internship and in addition, intern will receive a stipend.***
