Job DescriptionJob Title: Junior Financial Analyst Reports to: Treasurer & Principal Accounting Officer SUMMARYThe Junior Financial Analyst is an entry level position that will be responsible for assisting the VP of Sales and the marketing team in providing financial and business support as part of the FP&A team. The job of the Junior Financial Analyst is to carry out an in-depth evaluation and verification of the capabilities of the organization, serving as a middle man between the Sales and Marketing department and Finance department, to ensure that the information is properly disseminated.The candidate will work closely with the organization management in order to identify their customer needs and establish ways upon which customer needs can be met for their maximum benefit and satisfaction. Responsibilities include operating expense analysis, forecasting, reporting and budgeting, process analysis and implementation and ad hoc reporting. Duties and ResponsibilitiesWork with Sales management to document business processes and sales rep efficiencies.Ability to provide sales quoting tool supportProvide timely and accurate financial analytical support and information covering the sales and marketing departmentsResponsible for calculating & distributing commission reports for the sales teamWork with marketing team to develop monthly plan/budget as well as reporting on resultsReporting on leads, appointments, and sales resultsAssist in the Board report preparation.Prepares financial and business related analysis in such areas as financial and expense performance, cost of sales, cash flow forecasting and working capital.Assists with preparation and analysis of consolidated budgets and long range plans.Other duties as assigned.
