The Lead Product Manager will provide vision and tactical leadership to create and manage programs which drive broader adoption of our Managed Services Portfolio. The candidate must have demonstrated experience developing or supporting managed products focused on Profit and Loss Targets. It is imperative that the Candidate have a focus on Sales support and daily problem solving to assist and enable the various Sales Channels. The successful candidate will have exceptional leadership, communication and execution skills. The candidate must have both creative tactical problem solving skills with a keen mind toward strategic enhancements.
Job Description 13;
:The Lead Product Manager will work closely with the BPI Organization to understand and enhance processes relative to the Managed Services Suite of products.
:Understand the customer and Sales needs and requirements, further detail them in CenturyLink defined processes constantly look to ways to enhance them.
:Work closely with Pricing on a global basis to understand the global pricing on all Routers and IADS in all Continents.
:Define, track, interpret and report on key business metrics and drive activities which support continued revenue enhancements.
:Work with Vendors and Carrier Management to track and adhere to SLAs and performance metrics.
:Write and review product description, terms and offers to be used in tariffs and contracts. Act as SME and decision:maker in customer negotiations for any modifications requested.
:Contribute to the strategic product plan, ensuring a fit with overall corporate strategies. Ensure product profitability is optimized whether in growth or decline mode.
:Support planning, execution and go:to:market activities by closely working with the Product and Channel Marketing Teams.
:Provide training and support to service management personnel to understand and develop resolutions for customers product:related issues. Based on understanding of interdisciplinary aspects of product, develop solutions for product issues whether technical, financial, legal, or other causes by leading inter:departmental team.
:Oversee the development, execution and evaluation of Proof of Concept (PoC) programs.
:Lead analysis and strategy formulation to determine business opportunities that align with department goals and prioritize solutions focusing on new revenue streams. Create business cases to support proposed initiatives.
:Understand overall market trends, customer buying behavior, and competitor products in order to forecast the units and revenue of the product, any product enhancements, or overlays while still meeting predetermined corporate financial goals.
:Track and explain billed and booked unit and financial results, adjustments, and variances monthly, quarterly, and annually.
:Strong communication skills to ensure alignment across the business and ability to communicate enablement plans for portfolio solutions to all stakeholders and senior management.
:Meet with key customers, vendors, and systems integrators in fact:finding and sales opportunities.
:Understand market forecasts and industry trends to assess opportunities and develop winning strategies.
:Support all administrative functions for Sales, to include: IFO, Pipeline, SM, and router logistic management. This will include interfacing with the Vendors on Contract Management and internal functional teams such as
