Job DescriptionBroadridge is hiring! We are seeking a Trust Accounting Senior Representative in our Denver, CO office. In this position you will be the team's technical expert and have mastered all team functions and processes. You will have a full grasp of the Matrix business model and a full understanding of tax payments, reconciliation and all other processes. You will actively participate in team projects and provide insight when new products are in development. You will maintain and update the schedule, and process federal and state tax payments.You will work under the Director of the team. You will provide or assist with new hire training, including following or crafting a training plan.Responsibilities include:Process, balance and pay taxes to federal and state entitiesFile monthly, quarterly and annual tax returns (including Forms 945 and 941)Balance the house accounts supporting the Phoenix office for Medicare, local taxes, social security and NRAReconcile and document all bank accounts as prescribed by audited proceduresMaintain daily stabilizing of trust/fiduciary cash through the DRS systemPrepare and distribute management and board reportsAnalyze and reconcile Positive Pay reports and take action on exception itemsBalance tax withholding amounts to various reports provided to the IRSHandle difficult items as well as assigned tasks that require a need for technical expertiseWrite procedures for new or updated processesRecognize, initiate, and lead improvement activitiesRecognize, report, and raise non-standard issues to managementPerform other duties/responsibilities as needed or assignedQualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent with advanced accounting and tax experience preferred5+ years of accounting experience preferredStrong knowledge of retirement trust business and its particular accounting and tax reporting requirements, including experience filing 941/945 and state tax formsUnderstanding of individual retirement accounts, registrations and distribution processingExtensive use of PC and software applicationsCompany DescriptionBroadridge, a global fintech leader with over $7 billion in market capitalization, provides communications, technology, data and analytics solutions.
