Catering Coordinator The Catering Coordinator assist catering managers in achieving customer satisfaction by performing administrative duties relating to the club, members and food & beverage team members as well as gives hostess support to DAC restaurant. Responds to telephone, email & in-person inquiries regarding reservations, club information & guest concerns and is the point person for communication throughout the club. Duties: Create a welcoming environment for members and non-members upon entering the Catering OfficeReport directly to the Director of CateringAnswer incoming calls, qualifies the call and transfers to the appropriate catering team memberEvent administrative tasks such as print and distribute daily event sheets, door signs, creation of event menus, and weekly distribution of Banquet Event Orders to all necessary departmentsTake and manage reservations for club-wide events such as: Parade of Lights, Mother's Day and EasterManage/update sales database and reservation systemServes as DAC hostess during lunch rush as additional support for member experienceUpdate monthly catering sales projectionsProvide event planning assistance to the Director of Catering and Catering Sales ManagersProcess event contract and payment paperworkUpdate Catering menus and Wedding packages when directedAttend weekly meetings as needed Ideal Skills: Dealing with Ambiguity - Can effectively cope with change and can shift gears comfortablyCompassion - Genuinely cares about people and is concerned about their work and non-work problems and is available and ready to helpComposure - Can remain cool under pressure and does not become defensive or irritated when times are toughInterpersonal Savvy - Relates well to all kinds of people and can build relationships & rapport with both team members and clients Qualifications: Excellent communication and organizational skills necessary to communicate clearly with customers and other departmentsExcellent attention to detail and multi-tasking skillsPolished and welcoming demeanorPassionate about food and beverage and the hospitality industryTeam player with a can-do attitude2 years of experience in a professional work environment or some type of customer service or administrative roleProficient in Microsoft office and Excel is a must.Must be willing to work flexible hours when evening & weekend support is needed (including Easter & Mother's Day and potentially other holidays).Catering Coordinator The Catering Coordinator assist catering managers in achieving customer satisfaction by performing administrative duties relating to the club, members and food & beverage team members as well as gives hostess support to DAC restaurant.
