About the role:
In order to help Cochlear by performing Human Resources related duties on a professional level, we are recruiting for a Human Resources Coordinator in our Americas head office based in Centennial, CO.

To be successful in this role you'll be able to process, compliance and policy implementation, leave administration to include, FMLA, workers compensation, ADA, STD and LTD, rewards and recognition programs, onboarding and orientation, immigration, and company events. The Human Resources Coordinator also acts as a liaison between employees and STD, LTD, and worker's compensation providers and ensures adherence to Federal and State Employment Law and departmental policies and procedures. You'll work collaboratively with senior HR management, the Human Resources team and the Talent and Development team supporting designated Human Resources functions to ensures adherence to Federal and State Employment Law and departmental policies and procedures as well as support the Cochlear workforce.

This professional level role is responsible for assisting with the day to day operations for Human Resources. In this role you'll have the opportunity to make a significant contribution to Cochlear's successful history of innovation by applying your knowledge of Human Resources and organization skills. You'll know you've been successful in this role when you've established strong employee relationships, maintained quality service following organizational standards and have maintained employee confidence by keeping human resource information confidential.

Job Requirements
• To add value to Cochlear in this role you'll be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience in your application and at interview:
• BS/BA degree preferably with an HR emphasis
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• 1-3 years Human Resources experience
• Strong PC skills with Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills
• Positive attitude and ability to remain calm under pressure
• Proven ability to streamline processes
• Internal customer service orientated
