Position Summary
Answers multi:line telephone and directs callers to the appropriate individual or department. Greets all visitors courteously, determines their needs and directs them to the appropriate individual or department. Demonstrates workplace effectiveness to assure communication of Centura Healths mission and core values.
Minimum Education Requirements
:High School Diploma or GED required

:1 year of related experience preferred.

Position Duties (essential functions denoted with an * )
:Answers multi:line phone in a courteous manner and promptly routes each call as needed. Relays messages via phone to all departments.*
:Greets residents and visitors courteously. Determines their needs. Answers all questions and directs them as needed. Deals tactfully with the public, residents, and staff.*
:Handles all assigned word processing, filing, mail sorting and delivery accurately.*
:Accepts employment applications in accordance with facility and Human Resources policy.*
:Issues resident and employee meal tickets and maintains checklist.*
:Maintains a current file/listing of residents including name, room, telephone number, emergency contacts and phone numbers of on:call, key personnel.*
:Follows OSHA guidelines and facility safety programs to ensure a safe environment.*
:Responsible for the proper care of all property, equipment, supplies, and financial assets involved in the performance of the job.*
