Application Analyst Senior Providing advanced problem solving, analysis and support for software application and/or data issues. Supporting external users on all aspects of user reported application and/or data problems or questions involving software.
Responsibilities Include:
: Dealing directly with internal and external customers to ascertain problems and assisting in resolving issues while striving to build and maintain strong customer relations and partnerships.
: Troubleshooting, testing and coordinating to resolve reported software and/or data issues while providing status to internal and external clients on a timely basis with limited supervision.
: Documenting internal processes and/or business requirements from external sources.
: Reviewing the progress of and evaluating projects in terms of results achieved.
: Providing assistance in implementing and upgrading customers.
: Providing internal and external training and presentations on applications. Mentoring lower level associates.
Qualifications Include:
: High school diploma, GED Certificate or equivalent. Bachelors degree in Healthcare Management, Information Systems or a similar discipline of study preferred.
: Minimum of five years related experience working in a customer service environment with healthcare and/or information systems. Experience in healthcare billing preferred.
: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.
: Strong knowledge of claim formats and products.
: Strong data analysis, analytical and incident trouble shooting skills.
: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
: Limited travel.
