The Proposal Analyst II will be responsible for assisting sales teams in the State / Local Government and Small / Medium Enterprise Business Units with responding to various types of solicitations. Responsibilities will include assessment for level of support, managing content, formatting responses to align with corporate brand standards, and, in some cases, sales support for delivery or submission. Requires close collaboration with Sales, Engineering, Legal Department and Pricing teams.
Analyze and coordinate requirements and content of customers Requests for Proposal and build response templates in accordance with formatting requirements
Compile required inputs from appropriate knowledge experts
Apply writing skills to integrate current product and company-related documentation into customized responses
Copy edit final proposal packages. Support content governance plan in Proposal Management tool, which includes validation and timely update of assigned records / information
Support sales with bid submission as needed (frequently online)
2 plus years of experience
High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
Sell-side RFP experience desirable
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a related field
- Adapt and multi-task effectively in ambiguous or changing situations
- Basic understanding of contractual terms and conditions
- Strong organizational skills to manage 4-7 small to midsize projects simultaneously
- Deadline focused and self-motivated
- Achievement orientation with high degree of attention to detail to obtain high quality results
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with team members of all management levels and departments
- Critical Judgement to evaluate proposal requirements, apply business intelligence, and form a rational recommendation
- Ability to work hours which can fluctuate depending on demands by various proposal deliverables
- Team focused
- Qvidian experience a plus
