PORTER ADVENTIST HOSPITAL
Position is responsible for providing a customer service approach to providers in the South Denver Service Area in order to retain and build referral loyalty to SDG programs and services. The provider relations coordinator engages in continuous learning to maintain a strong understanding of market dynamics and SDG programs and services. The provider relations coordinator analyzes referral patterns, develops key sales messages and strategies, builds sales call plans, logs actions, and maintains communication to ensure follow through in pursuit of referral growth. The provider relations coordinator collaborates across SDG hospital, ambulatory, and Colorado Health Neighborhood locations to integrate the business objectives of all of the South Denver Group.
:Bachelors Degree in business, healthcare administration, or public health administration.
:Other healthcare or sales equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of Degree
:5+ years in a health care marketing or sales manager role or business development.
:Clinical background is preferred.
:Understand the practice of medicine including referral relationships, payer requirements, and other economic and clinical influences
FIELD SALES : 65
:Complete face:to:face field sales meetings with providers to ensure a thorough understanding of needs.
:Primarily identify, initiate and maintain contact with referral sources that will yield new referrals for the health system.
:Contribute to the development of physician:to:physician relationships to the benefit of SDG program referrals.
:Establish an ongoing visit schedule with existing referral sources to ensure access, communication and medical management are serving needs of providers and their patients.
:Provide a thorough explanation of service line attributes, CHPG, processes and outcomes to physician and other referring providers as needed
:Complete follow:up meetings with physicians as needed to close new or additional business, ensuring that internal and external obstacles to business growth and retention are identified and minimized
