The Senior Lead Product Manager is responsible for the overall strategy and direction of the CenturyLink Managed Services and Network (NFV and SDN) offerings. The position will leverage proven leadership and collaboration skills to deliver the Companys product strategy with cross:functional teams. This candidate is accountable for defining market requirements, profitability models, and establishing how products/platforms are consumed and sold. This role will also lead the Profit and Loss for these services and is accountable for the Life Cycle Management of the portfolio.

:Own the lifecycle management of current Managed Services elements including Routers, IADS and NIDS.
:Examine and develop strategic product offerings/bundles to extend and enhance the current set of Managed Services Products while working closely with the Product Managers that own products that utilize the above elements (i.e. MPLS/IP VPN, DIA, Voice etc.).
:Work with Sales and Sales Leaders on complex, large customer deals in the various Sales Channels.
:Actively Collaborate on Contract and Vendor RFI/RFP Solicitation. Provide input and assess Best Practices for a day to day tactical and strategic working environment.
:Provide executive discussion and leadership on both Tactical and Strategic Direction.
:Define and educate internal/external stake holders on the overall business product commercialization roadmap, with the continuous aim to get validation and buy:in.
:Effectively manage change and risk, partnering with various functional teams to ensure the right decisions are made at the right time, appropriate communication occurs, and that plans are intelligently adjusted as business needs change.
:Coordinate and communicate with internal customers, external customers and third:party Vendors as needed to set and manage expectations, highlight and resolve issues, and ensure an overall excellent experience. 13;
:Bachelors degree in technology, business, or engineering discipline, MBA or advanced degree preferred
:10+ years overall professional experience; 5+ years with product management and/or previous hands:on technology role (engineering, product development, sales engineering, or systems operations)
:Demonstrated knowledge of Managed Hosting Services (such as server, operating systems, monitoring, and networking technology).
:Proven New Product Introduction experience navigating enterprise environments, marrying complex business requirements to progressive product design solutions, and overseeing transition to production from product development
:Ability to leverage organizational capabilities to develop detailed documentation and manage complex product commercialization services
:Strong knowledge of the following Hosting Solutions: Servers, Blades, Grid Computing, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery, and Compliance.
:Knowledge of NFV and SDN, with a solid understanding of hypervisors and how SD:WAN orchestrates/operates across these elements.
:Strong knowledge of Operating Systems, Remote Access Software, and System Monitoring.
:3+ years consulting, including strategic and tactical planning for hosting solutions.
:Experience with go:to:market strategies, sales and technology product integrations.
