Position Overview
The National Accounts Communications Team is looking for a Strategic Account Manager for the Western part of the United States. This person will lead the company's efforts to maintain and expand deep relationships with national customers in the Telecommunications markets. This person will join a team to leverage strong relationships with our strategic accounts and be a world class technical resource. The National Accounts Strategic Account Manager will represent the entire range of company products and services to assigned customers, while leading the customer account planning cycle and ensuring assigned customer's needs and expectations are met by the company. The National Accounts Strategic Account Manager will focus on the headquarters, key decision, service, manufacturing and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customer's expectations.
:
Meet assigned targets and profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts.
:
Offer insight to Strategic Accounts on the ability of Oldcastle to develop distinctive, project/customer specific offerings to further strengthen partnerships.
:
Attend trade shows and otherassociations' meetings to stay abreast of market conditions, competition,and establish relationships with existing clients and prospects.
:
Proactively leads a joint company:strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for a one and three:year period
:
Proactively assess, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis.
:
Proactively assess current accounts for long term growth potential and develop a plan for growth in identifying new customer targets.
:
Leads solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary personal.

:
Ability to build and maintain strong internal relationships.
:
Ability to independently analyze customer strategies and needs to articulate supplier value proposition.
:
Comfort with working across a large range of products and having the poise to know when to call on the internal Oldcastle network for assistance.
:
Strong influencing skills; ability to drive results and revenue in a matrix environment as an influencer, not ultimate decision maker, on customer transactions.

Experience

5+ years working in the communications industry preferred. Experience in Strategic Account planning, development of large account management, and developing a "world Class" account team.

Technology experience in Telecommunications is preferred as it relates to Wireline, Wireless, 5G, and other technologies associated in this sector.
