The Business Systems Analyst Sr provides financial, statistical and operational analysis through the collection, manipulation, validation, reconciliation, and reporting of data centered around accounts receivable, reserves, cash and adjustments transactions, and net patient revenue. Troubleshoot and assess the root causes of broken operational processes identified through audits, financial analysis, reconciliations, and data validation. Assist and train user groups in understanding processes and the nature and meaning of data and reports. Assist with preparation of reports, files and pulling supporting backup for external audit requests from Ernst and Young, etc. Partner with customers to identify their needs and solutions.
Minimum Education Requirements
:High School Diploma or GED required.
:Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Accounting, Business or related field preferred.
:Equivalent work experience considered in lieu of education.
Minimum Experience Requirements
:3 years experience in working with data, databases, reporting, and table maintenance preferred.
:3 years experience with reconciliation and analysis preferred.
:Knowledge of healthcare operations and workflows preferred.
:Must be able to work independently and collaboratively.

:Ability to work with a variety of PC, client/server, and mainframe computer applications, use query languages, extract data, generate reports and spreadsheets, word processing, with proven experience in database programs and

:Reconcile, analyze and report utilizing data extracts from multiple billing and financial systems in large, multitab Excel workbooks with tens of thousands of records.*
:Create and maintain tools to assist customers in analysis and reconciliation processes.*
