Job Description:

Tipping Point Solutions is seeking a highly motivated, collaborative, and creative professional for an immediate contract position contributing to the design of a large eLearning development project. The individual will work on an integrated team with other IDs, subject matter experts, programmers, graphic artists, and multimedia developers to design cutting edge training solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Conducts detailed analysis supporting the initial phase of course development.
• Creates detailed design documents (storyboards), which support all terminal and enabling learning objectives identified for each lesson, and which clearly and effectively communicate the instructional plan for each lesson to the customer.
• Ensures the instructional integrity and educational effectiveness of all training materials produced.
• Demonstrates understanding of adult learning principles, and how they best apply to each assigned lesson.
• Applies proven eLearning engagement and motivation strategies, to include (but not limited to): case studies, simulations, practical exercises, and scenario-based knowledge checks, as applicable.
• Designs performance-based, measurable assessment items which directly align to the learning objectives.
• Collaborates with Subject Matter Experts and other team members in all phases of the design cycle.
• Adheres to accepted Style Guide practices and collaborates with Quality Assurance Specialists in all phases of the design cycle.
• Maintains current knowledge of eLearning industry and technologies.

Desired Experience:
• Proven experience with performing an instructional gap analysis.
• Firm understanding of the ADDIE system of design and evaluation.
• Demonstrable experience in designing and storyboarding distance-based learning, and knowledge of the systems and tool sets that support online learning (CBT, WBT, eL).
• Proven experience designing assessment instruments in support of multiple levels of evaluation.
• Knowledge of Learning Management System workflows, including alpha/beta/usability testing and eLearning distribution.
• Experience using the Saba LMS is highly desirable.
• Experience working within a large eLearning design and development organization is highly desirable.


Job Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Bachelor's degree and minimum of five years experience in eLearning design.
• Must be able to work on-location during normal business hours in the Denver Tech Center.
• Must be able to adhere to identified design metrics.
