We are seeking a friendly, responsible, creative individual with reliable transportation to join our talented Lifetouch Preschool Portraits photography team. In this role, you will lead a team of photographers and set up in preschools each day to capture high-quality portraits of children ages 6 months to 5 years.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
As a Lifetouch Preschool Portraits Lead Photographer, you will direct and photograph preschool students and staff for their school portraits, ensuring that they have an enjoyable experience. It will be your responsibility to capture high-quality images and lead the photography team while displaying confidence and professionalism at all times.
+ Assists in the selection and hiring of photographers
+ Trains new photographers and current photographers in classroom and field environments
+ Provides coaching to photographers regarding interaction with center staff and children and other related questions
+ Reviews portrait evaluations of photographers to ensure quality and consistency and provides feedback to the photographer, the District Operations Manager, and the Photo Department
+ Ensures photographers meet all deadlines for paperwork and equipment
+ Provides photographer performance appraisal information to District Operations Manager, or Photo Manager, as appropriate
+ Greets center staff and children
+ Assembles equipment according to established guidelines
+ Photographs staff and children
+ Completes all required paperwork to ensure flow of portrait processing
+ Makes contact with center director prior to departure
+ Presents contract for next season to center director for signature and date assignment
+ Prepares and ships appropriate paperwork to the lab on time
+ Assists in development of photographer schedules
+ Services existing accounts to ensure optimal school retention
+ Maintains and oversees equipment, backgrounds and props; tracks equipment inventory
Additional Duties & Responsibilities
+ Performs other projects or miscellaneous duties as requested or assigned.
Job Requirements
As a Lifetouch Preschool Portraits Lead Photographer, you should be personable and creative, and possess the ability to work with minimal supervision and as a member of a team. It is also important that you demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills. No photographic experience is required as we offer comprehensive training. You bring your high-energy, customer-focused personality and leadership skills, and we ll show you the rest!
Specific qualifications for the Lifetouch Preschool Portraits Lead Photographer position include:
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ Previous customer-service experience and the ability to interact with both adults and kids
+ Ability to consistently present a positive and professional image
+ Willingness to work a varied seasonal schedule, including early mornings and long week days as necessary
+ Willing to travel up to 50-100 miles to reach assigned locations, while transporting photography equipment
+ Valid U.S. driver s license as well as reliable, insured and registered transportation
+ Ability to lift and operate camera equipment, up to 40 lbs.
+ Ability to pass a background check
