Wazee Electric, a division of Timken Motor and Crane Services LLC, is seeking an individual to fill a full:time role as a Quality and Logistics Coordinator.
Job Summary: Provide quality, safety, and logistics support to applicable departments within the Wazee Electric organization.
:Maintain ISO9001 quality compliance
:Certify outbound items per ISO9001 standards
:Periodic internal audits of paperwork and work instructions
:Support ISO 9001 audits (external)
:Assist with EHS audits and tasks as assigned
:Conduct periodic equipment inspections and complete corresponding documentation
:Prepare customer inspection reports
:Receive all inbound materials, parts, and components
:Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times : ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for associates and customer traffic
:Prepare items for shipment and prepare detailed packing list for each shipment
:Document shipping and receiving transactions using computer based applications software
:Verify material received against purchase order (p/ns, quality, etc.)
:Check all inbound material for damage as per SOPs and ISO9001 standards
:Store all material in appropriate locations
:Advise production of all material received
:Maintain map of all stored material locations
:Prepare detailed packing list for each shipment
:Prepare bills of lading
:Photograph shipments prior to leaving shop
:Stock material in proper place upon receipt
:Assist in counting of physical inventory
:Stage all material and parts required for each job
:Prepare, pack, and document miscellaneous shipments via UPS, FedEx, etc.
:Make deliveries and pick:ups of materials, parts, etc. to job sites using company provided vehicle as needed
:Other duties as assigned
:High school diploma
:Working knowledge of MicrosoftOffice Suite (at a minimum, applicant must demonstrate a basic/intermediate level of expertise with Word, Excel, and Outlook). Some experience with MS Project and Access is desirable
:Experience using general accounting software (such as Epicor) is desirable
:Qualified to operate a forklift or have the ability to become certified within three weeks of date of hire
:Must be able to drive company provided vehicle if needed
:Ability to fill out vendor shipping documents and other highly detailed paperwork as work processes require : extreme attention to detail required
:Excellent customer service and communication skills
:Good organizational and time management skills
:Ability to multitask and change direction of work tasks quickly and often
Essential Functions/Work Environment:
:The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use handsor fingers to feel, handle, or reach; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The employee isregularly required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
:The noise level in the work environment is quiet to moderate. Occasionally loud when in motor shop or production areas.
:The nature of this position has the employee in either the field, the office,or in a production shop. This necessitates appropriate PPE as well as safety practices appropriate for those locations.
