Description: Location: Metro Denver, CO (Parking included at most locations) Type: Fulltime Status: Non-Exempt Salary Range: $14 - $18.00 depending on qualifications, credentials and experience Reports to: Center Program Director Responsibilities include: * Lead a classroom of 17 preschoolers ages three to five * Lead the teaching of two or three classroom staff * Work closely as a teaching team to individualize the curriculum to meet the childrens needs * Support childrens social and emotional needs * Complete developmental assessments * Work as a teaching team to complete parent/teacher conference and home visits * Encourage and support parent involvement in the classroom * Create a safe and healthy learning environment * Supervise the safety of the children in care * Supervise volunteers and student interns as applicable * Communicate with coworkers and families in a warm and professional manner .Requirements: Required and preferred qualifications: * Early Childhood Teacher Qualified in the State of Colorado * Associates (AA/AS) or BA/BS degree in ECE OR any field OR * Currently enrolled in a ECE AA/AS or BA/BS program * Full time work week, Monday through Friday, occasional evening meetings * Bilingual - Spanish, Arabic, Amharic, Somali (preferred) * Experience with the Montessori philosophy (preferred) Don't quite meet these requirements?
