Our mission is: We believe theres a better way to help employers increase productivity, improve healthcare quality and help employees back to productive life.The Batch Operations Support Specialist Level I is an entry level support position that is responsible for the configuration, administration and support of all batch automation processes within Reed Group.This position will report to the batch operations manager and will be a strong communicator, and be able to build relationships to deliver excellent customer service both internally and externally. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Demonstrates adherence to Reed Group, Ltd. values and performance guidelines.Performs all activities related to maintaining successful operations of Reed GroupA?s inbound and outbound file feeds including maintenance, monitoring and support.Assist team in working support tickets in Sysaid and TFS.Troubleshoot and resolve issues with inbound/outbound file feeds, FTP and encryption/decryption (GNUPG, PGP, GPG, etcA?).Involved in on call rotation to support file feed issues to ensure we meet SLAA?s.Work in a team environment with other developers, testers, production support staff, business users, and other internal teams as well as occasional external partners.Assist in the development of automation solutions using Network Automation. OTHER DUTIES: Reads professional publications and/or attends functions to stay up with emerging technologies and new design approaches. Attends department meetings and company meetings.Status reporting and time attendance.Other duties as required.Professional experience in a support related role. Basic knowledge of batch automation processing and encryption (PGP, etc.).Basic knowledge of file transfer protocols : FTP, SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, AS2, etcA?Versed in Microsoft technologies including Windows XP, Windows 7, Server 2003, Server 2008, and Office.Proficient in basic network troubleshooting.Excellent customer service and communication skills.Ability to multi:task and work as team member.
