Accountable for the inventory control of the Arvada location and cycle counts. This role will be performing continuous improvement activities, process improvements and will perform cycle counts. Counts material, equipment, or supplies in stock and posts totals to inventory pares inventories to office records or computes figures from records such as transfer orders, sales orders, cycle count reports, or receiving reports to obtain current inventory and identify vestigates inventory discrepancies and recommends corrective actions. Completes corrective actions as directed.Prepares lists of depleted, defective, obsolete or unusable items and recommends actions. Completes actions as directed.Receives, stocks and issues materials, equipment or merchandise.Utilizes data from sources such as purchase orders, invoices, packing lists, requisitions, and accounting reports and enters information into computer to maintain receiving, inventory, shipping, or other records.Utilizes production schedule to execute transfer orders, work orders and shipping orders to ready items and take appropriate actions on items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.Opens and conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas and repackages and labels items as required.Drives forklift to move materials within the warehouse.Maintains and organizes the warehouse.Performs other duties as assigned.Perform basic math skillsUse computer skills including using the company computer system as well as standard personal computer software toolsFunction as part of a teamWork well under pressurePay attention to detailERP experience and knowledge preferredExhibit good oral and written communication skills including legible penmanship High school diploma preferredSupervisory Responsibilities: None. Work Environment: This position operates in a plant environment. Position Type: This is a full time, non:exempt level position. Hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The vision requirements include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus. Lifting requirements include lifting up to 50:75 pounds.
