Based in Denver, Colorado you will lead and manage the day to day maintenance and/or operational activities at the site and directly supervise the activities of assigned technicians in an around the clock operation.
In your role you will:
: Manage and direct activities of technicians and/or to ensure maintenance procedures are completed safely, timely, and effectively while meeting customer expectations of service levels and availability within the guidelines of the Bombardier Code of Ethics;
: Make timely and responsible decisions regarding operational and personnel matters including allocation of resources, customer service issues, performance appraisals, employee development, and corrective actions;
: Coordinate the planning, development and implementation of recovery, repair and preventive maintenance procedures to maintain system operation. Revise or direct revision of above procedures when needed;
: Directly support the development and implementation of safety policies, practices, and operational initiatives that comply with all procedures, laws and regulations for automatic and manual train movements, and ensure compliance with same by all employees and visitors to the site;
: Train, coach, and mentor all direct reports, providing feedback and counsel as needed.
As our ideal candidate:
: You hold an AA/AS degree or equivalent required, BS/BA degree preferred in business or technical field;
: You have a minimum of two (2) years of experience in supervision or demonstrated leadership in an industrial/technical business environment;
: You own working knowledge of maintenance management processes or systems and demonstrated ability to understand and coordinate complex technical issues that required the use of project management techniques and statistics;
: You posess demonstrated past success in leadership of people and management of physical assets;
: You have the ability to understand and solve complex technical problems and the ability to negotiate human relations issues involving direct reports and other employees and vendors;
: You are familiar with immediate and direct impact in success of local site, customer relations, and development of technicians and other direct reports;
: You are able to manage multiple priorities and demands, while providing consistent and accurate feedback to direct reports.
