Medical Assistant/Clinical Coordinator
Optima Women's Healthcare - Parker, CO 80138

Busy doctor and thriving Ob/Gyn medical practice in Parker, CO seeks medical assistant/clinical coordinator.

Must have at least 1 year medical assistant experience and ob/gyn or women's health experience preferred. Must be certified medical assistant or become certified (at own expense) within first 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities include assisting doctor, taking vitals, rooming patients, procedure set-up & assist (including IUD, LEEP, colpo, EMBx, biopsies, BioTE BHRT pellets, MonaLisa Touch, Nexplanon, Novasure, Essure, Sonohysterogram), phlebotomy, triage patients, lab coordination, clinical supply ordering, sterilization, administrative duties, referrals, insurance coordination, prescription management, answering phones, chaperone exams, appointment scheduling, managing ultrasounds and NSTs.

Proficiency with Microsoft/ office programs, EHR/EMR, and computers is necessary and must be willing to participate in and promote paperless office.

Must have professional appearance with positive attitude, excellent customer/patient service skills, and good attendance.

Must be diligent, personable, efficient, organized, and a team player.

Must be able to assist with office branding through promotions, marketing, and social media.

Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.

Must have solid phlebotomy/venipuncture skills.

Demonstrating leadership skills, integrity, reliability, and the ability to work independently can lead to opportunities for advancement.

Must follow OHSA, HIPAA, and other office policies.
