The Pediatric Float Pool Nurse position supports the mission of Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children @ P/SL. Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children cares for children and their families with compassion, pediatric expertise, and innovation. We intend to care for the child from conception, through infancy and into young adulthood with medical excellence and a comprehensive approach unmatched in the Rocky Mountain region. The Resource Team RN is responsible for the delivery of nursing care to patients in the PICU, Pediatric unit, NICU Level II, NICU Level IV, Pediatric PACU, Pediatric ED, and any RMHC care area as deemed necessary. The Resource Team RN serves as primary nurse and/or care coordinator, leading the collaboration of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. The Resource Team RN oversees and directs the care of assistive personnel, maintaining final accountability for the care given to assigned patients. When the need arises, will perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
