Job Description
A 4:year course of study leading to a bachelors degree with a major in any field, that includes or is supplemented by at least 24 semester hours in any combination of the following fields: accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods or organization.
Minimum 2 years of experience serving as a Federal government and/or contractor employee in the GS:1102 series or equivalent capacity as a contract
specialist/administrator or procurement analyst.
Knowledge of the federal acquisition process.
Knowledge of contracting principles, laws, regulation, and procedures.
Knowledge of methods and techniques of fact:finding, analysis, and resolution of complex problems, and the ability to develop concrete action plans to solve problems.
Familiarity with price and cost analysis principles.
Knowledge of contracting writing systems (e.g., PRISM, PD2) is helpful.
