Assistant Apartment Manager Wanted : Denver

The primary role for the Assistant Property Manager position is to provide support to the Property Managers in the company.
Essential Responsibilities:
* Address the concerns of current and prospective residents in a friendly and professional manner.
* Helps set the standard on how Leasing Agents engage prospective and current residents. Tours and leases apartments as necessary.
* Helps with training staff as necessary and models effective sales techniques on a daily basis.
* Leads rent collection efforts, specifically with delinquent residents. This may involve lease termination and legal action if necessary.
* Assist in managing the propertys budget by making sound fiscal decisions to increase the net operating income of the community.
* Inspecting apartments during move:in and move outs, walking apartments and the community as needed.
* Fill the role of acting Property Manager when the Property Manager is absent.
:Renew existing leases
:Stay abreast of Fair Housing laws and regulations
:Conduct market research, project leasing activity, and assist with business outreach marketing, resident functions, and other promotional programs
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
:At least 1 year experience as an assistant manager
:1 year or more as a leasing agent
:Superior communication skills : both written and verbal
:Superior customer service skills
:Proficient computer skills : Microsoft Office Suite, Internet/Web platforms and management software
:Strong problem solving skills
:Ability to work independently
:Strong organization skills
:Some college education required. Associate or Bachelors degree preferred.
Successful Assistant Managers will have the opportunity to advance to become a licensed Community Association Manager within the company. Some company paid training and education for license preparation available.
