Job Description:/h3:
RESIDENTIAL APARTMENT LEASING CONSULTANT
:Walk the model, vacants, and the propery tour paths to ensure the grounds are inviting
:Greet the public and residents enthusiastically by telephone, email or in person, while displaying a positive and helpful attitude
:Use your best communications skills, set appointments for phone prospects to show the community
:Work all internet leads with positive and prompt replies, with objective of getting them to visit the community or apply online
:Update all web sites daily to ensure the correct information is showing on:line
:Review all web sites in depth monthly to check pictures, update standard information and test ease of navigating site as a prospect. Alerting the Property Manager of any potenial issues
:Assist in marketing the apartment community and generating traffic
:Answer multiple incoming phone calls, emails, etc. Trying to schedule as many leasing appointments as possible
:Present the available rental units through personal tours
:Rent apartments in accordance with occupancy standards and fair housing laws
:Pre:qualifying prospects, showing the property and leasing to prospective residents
:Provide all qualifying information including credit, resident history, and employment information on all applicants for residency to the Property Manager for approval
:Follow a system for effective follow:up with prospective residents though online and telephone leads
:Assure leasing packets completed accurately
:File any paperwork necessary
:Conduct market surveys as necessary
Requirements:
:MUST BE AVAILABLE ON THE WEEKENDS
:Must have at least 1 year of recent onsite leasing experience
:Experience with Word, Excel, Yardi, Onsite, Onesite, Pop Card, Entrada, Real Page, Bluemoon (or similar industry software)
:Strong communication and follow:up skills
:Enthusiasm, reliability and the ability to multi:task
:Ability to work both Saturdays and Sundays
:Strong computer background, typing skills to 45 wpm, filing, sales background, knowledge of apartment fair housing laws, strong people skills
:Well:groomed, professional appearance
:Ability to work well with residents, supervisors, employees and vendors
:Highly organized and skilled with time management
:Strong customer service/tenant relation skill required
:Excellent communications skills (written reports/analysis)
:Must be able to pass a background check
