TheSr. Project Manager, EPMOwill collaboratewith each project sponsor to develop and define the scope and success criteria for assigned projects within process improvement, data quality, and technology projects. This person may be assigned to perform Discovery for projects across the enterprise in order to prepare projects for the transition to internal or external resource teams. You may be assigned to manage a project(s) through the full project lifecycle, as appropriate and will ensure that the project(s) is delivered on time, on budget, and to the required quality standard.
:Lead the Discovery Phase for project(s) and ensure a smooth transition to an implementation team
:Consult with internal key business stakeholders to identify feasible solutions to achieve intended results
:Provide guidance to project owner related to risk management, corrective actions, and general project management.
:Manage and lead project teams as assigned.
:Define and manage project scope and budget.
:Identify and manage project risks and issues.
:Coordinate various work activities to ensure deliverables are timely, accurate, and handed:off appropriately.
:Collect and assemble work estimates.
:Conduct process improvement analysis to include the creation of related process flow documentation.
:Ensure overall quality of work products.
:Create the overall project communications plan and meeting structure.
:Ensure project documentation is maintained, securely stored, and disseminated to appropriate team members, end users, support personnel, and key stakeholders.
:Detailed project planning and control to include:
:Develop and maintain a detailed project plan.
:Manage project deliverables in line with the project plan.
:Develop and manage project budgets and financial status.
:Record and manage project issues and escalate where necessary.
:Manage project scope and change control.
:Resolve cross:functional project issues.
:Manage project progress and performance.
:Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
:Provide regular status reports to the Project Sponsor and EPMO.
:Conduct project retrospectives / post mortems and lessons learned.
:Perform project close out activities.
Essential Skills and Experience:
:Bachelors degree from a four:year college or university.
:Minimum 8 years of experience with managing a portfolio of projects utilizing Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
:Six Sigma green belt or black belt required.
:Agile Certifications a plus.
:Demonstrated business process experience utilizing Lean Six Sigma or relatedmethodologies.
:Experience managing both business processes and technology projects across multiple business functions.
:Proven track record of succeeding on high profile, high risk, high pressure, fast paced, multi:stream projects.
:Demonstrated aptitude and experience establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with business stakeholders, business customers, executives, and IT colleagues.
:Senior experience managing projects and people in global, matrixed organizations.
:Strong presentation, oral and written, and negotiation skills required.
:Experience working with Proof of Concepts (pilot projects).
:Demonstrated change management skills.
:Proven ability to lead through influence and drive user adoption.
:Ability to make effective decisions under extreme pressure.
:Ability to efficiently prioritize and organize work demands with little oversight.
