CNC Supervisor/CNC Operators

A world class, Michigan based, machining company is opening a satellite machining facility in Denver. We are seeking qualified people to help establish, run, and grow this new plant. The new plant will produce precision machined turned parts on state of the art CNC lathes for leading companies in the aerospace, medical, and commercial industries.
The new plant will be opening within a few months but people are needed now. We are looking for qualified people who are team players, self motivated, experienced, and hard working to become key members of this organization.

CNC SUPERVISOR/ENGINEER
Responsibilities:
• Program, set up, and operate various CNC swiss and dual turret machines.
• Provide verbal, visual, and written instructions to CNC operator’s and set up personnel as required.
• Provide routing information and set up sheets for all CNC machining operations.
• Oversee tooling inventory and machine maintenance.
• Continuously improve on existing machine programs, tooling, and operations to insure the best efficiency level is being achieved.
• Assist quoting by providing part processes, time studies, and necessary tooling for new jobs.

Minimum Requirements:
• Approximately 5 years working experience tooling, setting up, programming, and operating CNC swiss and/or dual turret lathes (experience on Citizen, Star, Nakamura, Hardinge, Mori Seiki is a plus)
• Ability to comprehend engineering drawings and manufacturing specifications.
• Experience in creating, editing, and proving out CNC programs and setups.
• Working knowledge in precision measurement tools and inspection techniques
• Must have working knowledge of speeds and feeds, and perishable and durable tooling.
• Experience with basic CNC machine and shop maintenance
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Good computer skills (email, MS office, CAD, etc.)
• Experience in leading and managing teams.

CNC MACHINIST/OPERATOR
Responsibilities:
• Changeover and operate CNC swiss and dual turret lathes
• Produce parts within specification
• Perform in process quality inspections
• Be accountable for quality of work performed
• Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment

Minimum Requirements:
• 3 years working experience changing over and operating CNC swiss and/or dual turret lathes
• Ability to comprehend part drawings, control plans, and work instructions
• Understanding of speeds and feeds
• Ability to make tool offsets, adjust speeds and feeds
• General working knowledge of tooling and materials
