HVAC/Plumbing Technician
All American Heating Fairplay, Colorado
We are currently seeking to fill positions for HVAC/Plumbing Technician, HVAC Maintenance Technician, and HVAC/Plumbing Installers
Job Requirements:
Minimum two year HVAC and or plumbing experience
Valid Colorado Drivers License
Must possess own tools
Must be willing to relocate
Ability to read and interpret HVAC equipment wiring diagrams and control schematics.
Demonstrate good diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to use and interpret diagnostic and service equipment including but not limited to volt/ohm meter, amp clamp, manometer, vacuum gauges, combustion analyzer, reclaim machine, nitrogen regulator, vacuum pump, vacuum gauge, digital thermometer.
Must have the following tools or willing to purchase tools the tools can be purchased through the tool purchasing program. Volt/OHM/Amp meter, manometer, refractometer, combustion analyzer, B tank, glycol pump, cordless drill/saw, gauges, and basic hand tools.
Must be able to follow procedure set by company.
Good work ethic and the desire to advance both professionally and personally.
Keep work truck clean and stocked.
Ability to communicate and help clients with their needs.
Ability to get along with and work well with people on all levels.
Read, interpret and carry out instructions as called for in blueprints, specifications, and sequence of operation instructions, product installation, engineering, and owners manuals.
Require little or no supervision.
Demonstrate a willingness to continue education through available company and industry training.
Thorough and accurate completion of company or manufacturers start:up, commissioning, and service work order paperwork.
Good working knowledge of Furnaces 80 : 90, fancoils, exhaust systems, boilers 80 : 90, in floor heat, baseboard heat, snow melt, humidification zoning and zoning controls.
Perform service, start:up, and commissioning per manufacturers specifications for rooftop equipment, make:up air units, exhaust fans, energy recovery ventilators, chillers, boilers, exhaust fans, unit heaters, variable air volume terminals, zoning dampers, dampers, actuators, furnace, fan coils, heat pumps, and condensers.
Furnace/ boiler, duct, pipe sizing and load calculations a plus.
Provide estimate on heating systems and accessories.
Perform preventative maintenance.
Monthly call rotation.
Must be able to work overtime and on the week:ends or Holidays if needed.
Skills to perform final low voltage wiring, control wiring, controls final tie ins, and terminations.
Good working knowledge of installing both soft copper and ACR copper refrigeration piping using proper nitrogen purge and brazing techniques.
Good working knowledge of specialty systems such as building automation, variable refrigerant flow, variable speed drives, variable air volume, high velocity/high pressure, in floor heat, baseboard heat, snow melt, humidification, zoning, and zoning controls.
Minimum two year experience
HVAC associates degree or the equivalent field experience.
EPA refrigeration certification
