Our mission is: We believe theres a better way to help employers increase productivity, improve healthcare quality and help employees back to productive life.The Software Quality Assurance Engineer ensures the integrity of all Reed Group software products by rigorously testing Reed software, documenting test results, debugging programs, and approving releases of Reed products. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Quality Assurance team member in support of one or more Reed products. May be given ownership of one or more Reed productsDevelops, publishes, and implements test plans.Executes automated test scripts.Writes and maintains manual tests based on requirement specifications.Responsible for writing black box test cases based on requirement specifications.Executes tests per test plans.Reviews specifications for enhancements, bug fixes and extending functionality of Reed products.Work closely with Customer Service and User teams to ensure needs are being met.Track work time according to projects in a timely manner.Participate in product release authorization process and reviews.Analyze client issues and product problems from released products as requested by the Customer Service team. Work to identify and resolve issues.Provide daily verbal and written status reports OTHER DUTIES:Attend department and company meetings.Stay current on technology trends and industry information.Works under general supervision.Other duties as required.BachelorA?s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.4 + years related experienceKnowledge of software quality methodologies and processes.Basic knowledge of Microsoft web:based technologies and n:tier architectures.Basic knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, to include Windows 7 and beyond2+ years experience using SQL Server. Execute SQL queriesExperience working within version control and change management.Experience with all phases of the software development life cycle.Experience working in with Agile development process.Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to a wide audience.NICE TO HAVE:Experience with Visual studio Experience with Team Foundation ServerExperience with .net and C 6.0Understanding of XML/XPATH (particularly within SQL Server)Understanding of JSON and other types of serialization Experience working with automation tools; SpecFlow or Selenium
