EventGallery 910 Arts presents the first collaboration between artists Albert Moore and Ruth Neubauer in a new exhibit entitled “Over Time”, running October 19-November 26, 2012 at 910 Santa Fe Drive in Denver’s popular Art District on Santa Fe. Moore’s mixed media assemblages represent a return to his art after many years of focusing on his practice as an architect. In this show he blends lines, planes, volumes and spaces from his architectural experience with materials, colors, textures—merging architectural model-making with painterly depth. Ruth Neubauer's photography finds meaning and beauty in ordinary things we might pass by every day and not notice. She sees color, texture and contrast in a restrained, almost zen-like way. This show is a retrospective of the work each has created over the 20 years of their friendship in which they developed mutual admiration for each other’s artistic side. The public is invited to enjoy the show during regular business hours, Thursday-Saturday 12 Noon-5:00 pm and during the following special events:

Opening and Artist Reception
-Third Friday, October 19, 5-9 pm
Artwalk at Denver’s Art District on Santa Fe-First Friday, November 2, 5-9 pm

Albert Moore
is based in Santa Fe, New Mexico where he practices architecture and art. He is writing books about living creatively from the soul and teaches classes and workshops. In this show, he hopes to draw people inward to experience the natural Order, the sacredness that underlies our existence even though our judgmental minds might see chaos. It has been said of his work that “Albert distills complex principles, grounds them, and makes them understandable and useful in everyday life.”

Ruth Neubauer is a licensed psychotherapist in private practice. She moved to Denver four years ago after living in the Washington, DC area for almost 30 years. Her passion for photography began in 1980 with her first "real" camera, a Canon A-1, and she continued to use film until 2007. She became a Certified Juror through her mentor Joe Miller, Artistic Director and Curator of the Miller Center for Photographic Arts, in Virginia in 2006. Ruth's pictures have been in many juried shows and published in several venues. Her exhibit at the EventGallery covers decades of her work, moving from concrete images to abstract images unrelated to place or context yet still photographing what is already there to be seen. All of her images are made in-camera and she does not digitally manipulate them.
