Greetings museum enthusiasts and family-fun seekers!

Do you work during the week and wish you had more free time to visit your favorite museums? Do you want to have a unique experience with your family during the weekend?

Beginning May 5th, the Forney Museum of Transportation will be OPEN on Sundays from 12:00 – 4:00.

Come on down with your whole family and spend your Sunday with us at the Forney Museum of Transportation.

Check out our current exhibit, “From Wood to Vinyl”, which showcases Woodie Station Wagons beginning with a 1922 Model T Depot Hack to a 1996 Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon.

Stop in during May to see our new exhibit, Cadillacs of the 1960’s, which will be on display from May 1st through June 31st.

Home of the Union Pacific Big Boy, “One of the Largest Steam Trains Ever Built.”

The Forney Museum is also home to Amelia Earhart’s 1923 Kissel Goldbug, “The Yellow Peril”.

The Forney Museum is open Monday through Saturday 10AM to 4PM.

Admission is $8 for Adults, $6 for Seniors, and $4 for Children. (Children under 3 are free!)
