My name is Steve Brown and I have been a metal artist for over 6 years. What started as hobby making art and furniture for myself, friends and family has developed into an exciting and profitable career. I have developed my own unique style that focuses on realistic depictions of nature. I have always felt the need to express myself artistically, and finally found my medium in metal.

If you would like to explore the world of metal art please join me for a "Welding for Artists" class starting Saturday October 6. This 8 week class will be held 9am to 3:30PM on Saturdays at the Emily Griffith School in downtown Denver. The class will run through December 8, with additional classes starting in January and March of next year. You will learn basic metal fabrication skills including welding, oxy-acetylene torch, and various finishing techniques. Students will be encouraged develop their own projects in metal art and furniture. The class will also cover development of artistic styles and marketing your creations in the art world.
