The band consists of singer/songwriter/guitarist Chris Merrill, lead guitarist Eli Johnson, bass player Robert Finn, keyboardist Jeremy Dan, and drummer Michael Johnson, to bring you music that manages a soulful past with a blend of rhythm and rock to form a sound that transcends categories.

Merrill has opened for such acts as Maroon 5, Counting Crows, and Augustana. And the band is blowing up the radio receiving regional airplay for their song "The One Thing".

Singer/songwriter/guitar player and drummer are looking for an experienced bass player to complete our band line up.The name of our band is "The Western Radicals" and our music is a mixture of rock, blues, and funk and we have a thirty song set list with about five covers. We have been playing in and out of Denver's local music scene for a year and our objective is to find the right bass player and build a local following. We rehearse and record at the drummer's home studio in Aurora and get together to jam once or twice a week.We are in the process of completing our website but you can hear a sample of our music at myspace.com/westernradicals. Our objective from the beginning is that the music grooves and it gets people dancing and we have had nothing but positive feedback everytime we play out.If you are an experienced bass player and are interested we welcome you to come down to the studio to jam with us.

FUTURE Grammy STARS Produced by OCTANE-Records-Music.com!

SEATTLE, Nov. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Hear the difference at Octane Records with signed Recording Artists that now include the following New Artists: Aziel, Jailbird, HUD, Heath, Mr. Rakafela, Maggot Brain, and Octane featuring Shock G, Humpty Hump (http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/rakaoctane1), and Snoop Dogg (http://www.rogueisland.com). Produced By Brent DeRocher for Octane Records.

Most people will never forget Aziel for his chart-topping hit "Fall In Love Again." The day it hit KCCN FM 100, Hawaii's premier radio station, it immediately made its way onto the daily "Top 5 at 5," becoming the number-one most requested song for six weeks. Another hit followed - a remake of Stevie Wonder's "Ribbon In The Sky." Listeners couldn't get enough of Aziel's silky R&B voice. Aziel is currently seeking full radio rotation on all mainstream USA radio stations for his album "Take You Away" that features music-writing and production by multi-platinum legendary songwriter LeRoy Martez Bell, and music writer Linton Weems. With several hit songs and "GROUNDBREAKING" industry sound, this project commands a space within the R&B community.

Aziel Toeaina, born January 1, 1978 in San Francisco, California, is a musical genius who can switch from his R&B delivery to Hip Hop and Rap, unlike many artists on the market today. Aziel's critics say he may be as good as Usher and Justin Timberlake. Aziel also plans on being a Grammy Nominee and a Grammy Winner in the very near future.

Jailbird, born Jeffrey Sayer in 1978 in Olympia, Washington, is destined to be a rap superstar; the kind of superstar that understands a good hook, strong songwriting and the importance of a great performance. Jailbird's critics say he may be as good as Eminem. Jailbird is a Rap Artist that plans on being a Grammy Nominee.

HUD was born Anthony Hudson in Memphis, Tennessee in April of 1971. A Rap Artist who loves performing, HUD began entertaining in early 1986 at talent shows. His mother, who fell upon hard times while HUD was young, was a former background singer for the likes of B. B. King and other popular Memphis recording artists and is credited for introducing HUD to the profession of music.

Mr. Rakafela, born Alvin E. Kirton III in Oakland, California in July of 1973, was highly influenced in the early 1990s by the success of Tupac Shakur and Shock G from Digital Underground. Being deeply rooted in Tupac and Digital's cliques, Mr. Rakafela developed a Funk/Hip Hop mix which he displays in his latest masterpiece, "Tale of a New Legend" featuring Shock G, Humpty Hump, and Jailbird.

Denver Based Producer Engineer Now Booking for Fall and Winter

Hi, my name is Silas Mera and I'm looking to fill out my schedule for the rest of the year.

I'm a music pro with over a decade of experience in the industry. I record all kinds of music. The majority of my clients are: guitar based bands ( Rock, Metal, Indy, Punk), Singer/Songwriters, Pop, Hip-Hop, and Dance Music ( House, Breaks, Electro, etc..)

Recording with me, you'll get a professional, commercial sound, for a reasonable price. I take pride in making sure an album, EP, or demo cut with me is a fruitful, enjoyable experience for everyone involved, and sonically, is everything it can be.

I'm a producer as well as an engineer, with composing, arranging, sequencing and beat making skills as well as recording and mixing chops. I consider it my job to translate your musical vision into a great recording, using both our creativity to make the best product possible. Making sure your money is spent wisely, getting the most sound for your money is also one of the responsibilities I take on.

Please check out my page for examples of some recent stuff that I've done, or if you'd like to hear other examples in other styles just let me know. Some testimonials from current and previous clients are also on the comments section of my page.

If you or your band, or group is in the market for a recording project (no matter how big or how small), please take some time and check me out. Feel free to contact me through Myspace.

That's a pretty catchy title, eh? You just got more than you bargained for. I'm going to repost this ad bi-weekly until someone believes me. Please, ask me questions.
This is the second music ad I've ever placed. I am a 30 year old male guitarist/singer in westminster, co. I also play drums, keyboard, and bass. I am an excellent singer and a decent guitar player. I have good stage presence and perfect pitch. Check out some songs, I performed all the instruments, but this is very old stuff: myspace.com/pranksteratom. I like alternative timing schemes and phrasing. I'm somewhere between athiest and born again christian right now. If this email offends you in any way, I apologize in advance.
In 1994 i briefly met and held the hand of Mi'Clam from the band Vast Expanse Band Oedipus. I saw my life flash before my eyes.
In 1998 i briefly met K from the band Apparatus. I told him that right around the turn of the real millenium(2001, not 2000. the count would have started at 1, not zero.) planes would fly into buildings causing great chaos. I also said that a black president would be elected who is of half muslim descent, and that nuclear attacks would take place sometime close to december 2012. The song from the album is based on lyrics I sang him when he said he wanted to write down what I had said. "I haven't brought my sword, fucked myself again"(long story actually). if i seem aloof i'm sorry but i'm numb to it now.
In 2005 I wandered back to my old practice space to see what was up. I heard beautiful music coming from one of the practice spaces I had occupied previously. When I knocked they let me in, it was the band A Fracas. I had a fairly long conversation with them regarding record deals, hit singles, and the events mentioned previously. I think they believed me, and they said they would help me out when it came time to publish my book(I knew they were going to be successful and thus have money, but I'm still not finished, I'm a little busy with my kid and one on the way). I want to record some music with a real purpose, but it's been a while...and you'd have to believe me...these stories go on and on, but I need to stop now i think. I don't talk about this stuff with anyone but my wife until recently, like right now...thanks for listening. my email is pranksteratom@anincompleteboo.com,
I don't care if I seem insane anymore, I've got too many deaths on my concience. if you really want to get scared ask me what happens...Also, i'm a computer programmer and i'm fucking loaded...by loaded I intended a double meaning, but clearly I meant drunk. www.anincompleteboo.com.

Currently it is only I and a conservatory trained cellist. It would be great to have a piano and guitar.

Bass Player Looking for Jazz Venue

posted: October 9, 2009, 09:43 AM

I've played guitar since I was 12, including numerous years on the road doing rock, soul, funk. I switched mostly to bass years ago. I also play upright bass at church. Currently, I am playing backup for a Denver-based singer. Looking to expand my playing time, now that I am retired and actually have more time to devote to music again. My next gig is coming up at Dazzle Jazz Club later in October.
The "ideal" group would be acoustic oriented with unique instrumentation... similar to Montreaux, Acoustic Alchemy, Oregon, and the like, drawing from eclectic roots (folk, jazz, classical). I can hang with the jazz standards also, and would consider joining an existing group that needs a bassist. I would pass at anything resembling "smooth jazz" or a heavy "fusion" thing.
I also enjoy working with a pianist, and enjoy classical-jazz meanderings (Fred Hersch, Bill Evans, etc). Denver area only.
